I can’t speak highly enough of Vocal Art and Adri-Anne Ralph! In January of 2011, my 13 year old daughter landed a key role in the musical theatre production The Wiz. While my daughter is a good actor, she is not comfortable singing. As her role required a lengthy solo, she was most distressed. Not wanting her to quit, we did our research and found Vocal Art Studio and I’m so thankful that we did! Adri-Anne’s warm, patient teaching style along with her voice training exercises made a world of difference. Not only did my daughter’s vocal ability develop but her confidence returned as well. She gained solid vocal skills, learned to sing in key and then worked with Adri-Anne to really grow into her big solo. Five months later, my daughter commanded the stage and sang with such confidence and style, her Drama Teacher called her the “Show Stopper”! She has now enrolled in the Musical Theatre program in her new high school and we have every expectation that she will build on the tremendous success she has achieved, thanks to Adri-Anne’s instruction. I am confident that Adri-Anne can teach any willing person to sing!

Adri-Anne is the best vocal coach ever. I have known and worked with her for almost 2 years now and I have learned so much. She showed me different techniques and ways to bring out my voice. She helped me recognize the flaws in my voice and showed me ways to correct them. She’s really patient with me, but she is stern when she knows that I didn’t practice. She’s really easy to talk to and I loved working with her. I couldn’t see myself working with any other vocal coach. She made the technical side of singing much more enjoyable for me and I will always appreciate her for that. Before I started working with her, I was just singing and not knowing what I was doing. But now I actually understand the mechanics behind singing and how knowing those things can improve my voice. I have worked and am now trained in several different songs. My range is broader and my tone is sharper. All of this to say, Adri-Anne is an awesome voice coach!

Adri-Anne has an amazing ability to make learning how to sing both fun and professional. She is always encouraging and understanding of your current level of musical talent. Adri-Anne demonstrates and explains each technique in a way that easy to understand. She builds upon what experience I already have and was able to quickly meet me at my current level. Since I started taking lessons, I've felt more confident and comfortable with both my ability to sing and play piano. This increased level of confidence has also seeped into other areas of my life. I find myself singing more often and even in front others, something that I would never have done before. And I've even started receiving compliments as well!
